Memorandum of Understanding

On the 2nd of December 2023, after the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Swisscross foundation, Mala Mustafa Barzani's Office, Barzani Charity Foundation, Ministry of Health and Kurdistan Higher Council of Medical Specialties, a total of 6 mobilizer doctors will visit Erbil, Duhok and Soran, screening patients and recommending those eligible for reconstructive, orthopedic and oncological surgeries and other complex surgical conditions for treatment.

The mobilizer doctors will assess each patient's condition and refer them to the Centre of Excellence for Complex Care, where international expert surgeons will provide life-changing surgical care. This partnership ensures that patients across the Kurdistan Region receive the complex care they need, close to home.
